Show your support for local law enforcement with a Band of Honor. These black aluminum bracelets are each engraved with the words "Duty Honor Sacrifice" as found on the Wilmington Area Law Enforcement Memorial. 


You can purchase your Band of Honor from any WPRA Board Member for $10 each.

 ABOUT THE ASSOCIATION The Wilmington Police Recreation Association is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) Not for Profit Public Charity.  Contributions to the Association are deductible under Section 170 of the Code.  The Association is dedicated to the advancement of the Wilmington Police Department’s image and the well-being of the community. The Association achieves this purpose through sponsorship of youth athletic teams, providing holiday food baskets for the elderly and needy, public education and safety projects, and other charitable contributions.

While we are happy to have raised the funds to pay for our Local Memorial,  We are seeking additional funds for the addition of a Flagpole and to create a Maintenance Fund for the Memorial. 
Dedication of the Law Enforcement Memorial was held on May 12, 2011. The Wilmington Police Recreation Association (WPRA) was designated by Chief Ralph Evangelous as the organization which will receive donations to build the memorial.  The Wilmington Police Recreation Association is recognized by the IRS as a 501(c)(3) Not for Profit Public Charity.  Contributions to the Association are deductible under Section 170 of the Code.  The Association is dedicated to the advancement of the Wilmington Police Department’s image and the well-being of the community.    Tax Deductible Contributions may be sent to: Wilmington Police Recreation Association Attn: “Police Memorial” C/O Auxiliary Lt.
