The Wilmington Police Recreation Association is hosting the Third annual Send a Cop to College at Cape Fear College’s Union Station onSaturday, April 2, 2016.  This event is to raise money for scholarships to be awarded to deserving Wilmington Police Department employees (sworn/non-sworn) and their children.  Last year we raised over $8,000.00 for our WPD employees and we currently have three officers benefitting from the second annual scholarship.

Please join us on Saturday, April 2nd so that we may continue to provide this scholarship for worthy Wilmington Police Department employees and their families.  There will be a hosted bar, light appetizers, our very own "DJ Piner" will be mixing tunes on the dance floor and a three-course dinner will be served.  For tickets, more information or to become sponsor, please call Sgt. A. Williams at 910-367-0626.

Check out some pictures from last year’s event.
